But what happened to make us leave Switzerland, our landmarks, our comforts… to move to Panama?
A desire for change, of course. But above all, an intuition. That another life was possible.
Since then, there have been the steps, the work, the unforeseen events, the doubts… and then, little by little, something has come together.
Casa Fofo is born.
A simple, lively place, surrounded by nature. A place where you can slow down a little. Where we sometimes relearn to breathe differently.
And above all… a starting point.
Because very quickly, we discovered a reality that few people imagine because it’s rarely mentioned in tourist guides, unfortunately:
Around San Carlos, there are an incredible number of places to explore.
- Magnificent beaches.
- Hidden waterfalls in the jungle.
- Hikes with immense ocean views.
- Authentic villages.
- Local markets.
- Places almost unknown to tourists.
And all this… without having to drive for hours on end.
So a question came to mind:
Is it possible to have incredible experiences… simply around San Carlos?
