🌿 The green season in Panama
From May to November, Panama enters what is called the green season.
Contrary to popular belief, it usually does not rain all day: tropical showers often arrive in the late afternoon or during the night, leaving long sunny periods to enjoy the beach, the pool or excursions.
☀️ The Arco Seco: a privileged region
San Carlos and Coronado are located in an area of Panama called the Arco Seco (literally “the dry arc”).
This is a climatic feature well known by Panamanians: this Pacific region receives less rain than many other parts of the country, even during the green season.
In San Carlos, rain is generally brief and tropical, quickly giving way to sunshine and particularly lush vegetation.

Under the mango trees, on the grass, three hammocks are already set up… and you’re also welcome to bring your own hammock, tent, or mat.

Casa Fofo is a guesthouse made up of 3 casitas (2 doubles and 1 family unit).
It is also a lived-in property: we live on-site year-round in our own separate house.
👨👩👧👦 Joëlle and Jack, along with our two children and three cats, will be happy to welcome you, answer your questions, and help you discover the region or organize local experiences 🌊🌄
