After a series of eruptions, its summit collapsed, forming a massive caldera about six kilometers in diameter. They then rinse off in the showers provided for this purpose and head into the thermal pools. In just under an hour from Casa Fofo, you go from the Pacific beaches to a lush valley where the air is cooler and the pace is much more peaceful.<br\/>For your first visit, I recommend simply strolling through the village, soaking up the atmosphere, and checking out a few of its must-see spots.
